I don’t think I really understood what you were trying to say, but 1st I don’t believe in “sh*t happens.” I believe we are in control of our lives and in charge of our own destinies. 2nd, no I don’t think there’s anything wrong with an intelligent woman wanting to have a kid without a husband. I meant more like 30 and under and unintelligent, women who don’t put their talents to better uses.

Oh, soo not true, things happen for a reason. And, I assure you, intelligence has nothing to do with it, hence, NO CONDOM…….which, should a male decide he isn’t quite ready for the all desirable poopy diaper detail, HE MIGHT HAVE WORN ONE. I am now pregnant with my fourth child, and in my ” late” 30’s. My first child born in 1992, rendering me in my ” early 20’s” and was a lesson in the blind leading the blind. I am so much more financially prepared and soooo much more mentally prepared. Right on, friend.

I also agree, I had my first at 30 and my second at 35. There is nothing I missed out on as far as the whole partying with friends, going to bars, experimenting with drugs etc. thing so by the time I got married and started a family I was, and still am, very content to have that be my focus without resentment for “what I may be missing out on”. But of course I also agree that there are exceptions.

Are they doing this on purpose? I would’ve thought they learned their lesson the first time. I guess they probably have plenty of money and are already succesful in their careers, so it’s not so much of a concern for them to wait until their careers are established like most of us.
