I feel like Kate’s speech would have been more genuine if she hadn’t been in big movies for over a decade. I think she should have learned how to accept awards by now, especially seeing as she was in “Titanic” , one of the biggest movies of the ’90s. Anne is relatively new to this kind of thing and much younger — Kate’s a big girl now and ought to know how to handle herself at award ceremonies like this.

yeah, that was the highlight of the show for me!

that and kate winslet. because she essentially pulled a similar thing to anne hathaway’s “crazy train speech” the other night, but on kate winslet it was sooo genuine and adorable. “oh my god! ohkay, gahther.”
