eugh..30 Rock.
I saw the premiere episode and haven’t seen another one since.
I wonder how Fey would be if McCain/Palin had won..would Palin make more appearances on SNL?

I just saw Curious Case.. last week and thought it was just wow.IMO Brad Pitt should get awards for his performance in that movie.No interest in seeing Slumdog.
Thought Kate’s speech was funny,however I think she forgot about her husband.
I don’t think Heath’s performance warrants an award..He did ok as The Joker..
It’s like Dancing with the Stars..what’s her name passed out or whatever and she went on to the next round.

i feel that JD is overrated compared to some fantastic actors of that era who get little recognition – for example Rod Steiger is in my mind because I watched Duck You Suckers last night, and he was AMAZING.

agreed, Knight’s Tale was terrible – but 10 Things was awesome – so was Two Hands and he was good in The Patriot too.

I noticed this, too. My friends and I were actually cringing when we saw how emotional she got over the mention of Leo’s name. And she gushed about him and their relationship for way longer than was warranted, especially considering her husband got like a 3 second mention. Leo was also acting a little weird. He looked way happier for her than her husband did and the way they cut to him blowing her kisses…the whole thing was just awkward.

I’ve never seen “30 Rock” — I’m still mad at NBC for cancelling “Arrested Developement” three years ago. Not a big Baldwin fan, but I’d be interested in seeing an episode or two.
Still…
Interesting night. Not as interesting as the Oscars will *hopefully* be, but still. Interesting. Every year I tell myself that I’m going to see movies that will probably be nominated for awards, but that didn’t happen. I didn’t even see any of the comedies or musicals! What’s wrong with me?!

omg it was priceless. Absolutely priceless.
I still don’t understand why people think that Angelina is a good actress. She seems to be playing the same roles the same way over and over again…like Harrison Ford, except creepier.

My mom and noticed the EXACT same thing. Like, she was all REALLY touchy with Leo and huggy and kissy and handy-holdy but with her husband? Not so much…it definitely seemed like something was going on. Prolly not, but you never know…

I must agree with you on some level there. I’m glad Heath won (although I wouldn’t have minded RDJ winning either, even with his messy bed-head), and I’ve only seen James Dean in “Rebel Without a Cause”. He was pretty good in that, but he was only in 2 other movies. How can you call someone who has only been in 3 movies one of the best actors of all time? That doesn’t seem like sufficient evidence to me.
HEATH however…was amazing. Although I hated “A Knight’s Tale”. Arguably one of the worst movies ever made.

It involves a bit more than just some po’ kid going on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” and winning it big. Although, that is the basic premise, the story is more about the consequences of the main character’s victory and how he explains it to the cops that he didn’t cheat in order to win. It is a somewhat wild and fable-like story that he tells them, but it’s also very well presented and filmed. I can almost guarantee you that this movie will keep your attention right up until the end (unless if maybe your favorite movie of all time is “Rush Hour 3″). This film’s perhaps not for everybody’s taste, but it’s definitely a breath of fresh air from a lot of the crap that is coming out of Hollywood. If there’s one thing I learned from this film, though, it’s that I won’t be vacationing in India anytime soon…ugh!
