Brotherly Love

Michael C. Hall married his Dexter co-star, actress Jennifer Carpenter.  Their nuptials are not going to be written into the series, which is a relief since they play siblings.

They actually got married on New Year’s Eve but are just releasing a statement now.  I give credit to anyone who has even a modicum of celebrity being able to keep their wedding a secret.  Or perhaps it just went down that way because no one cares.  Aw…sad.

Hall divorced Wife #1 in 2006 and started secretly dating Carpenter in 2007.  Or, you know, 2006.

Above, the couple appearing in 2007 and pretending they aren’t sleeping together.

I find this pairing SO creepy. I get that they’re not actually siblings – I still don’t like it. It’ll be a little weird to watch Dexter now, knowing that he and his sister are boning in real life!

Ummmmm OK I’m a big fan of this show, and I don’t think I can ever watch these two characters in the same way now. They play brother and sister so well, and now I won’t be able to stop myself from picturing them fucking every I tune in. Weird.

  3. This is… really weird.

there are pictures of them on dates if you search google well enough. They are actually really cute together in real life.

    Michael is hot.

Wasn’t this a blind item not too long ago? They have the same stance as Brad & Angie did while they were doing press for Mr. & Mrs. Smith- hands in pockets, half-smiles, and standing a good distance apart from each other.

Oh my God, Dexter is one of my favorite shows, but I had NO IDEA they were dating! DUDE! xD
Hey, I actually think they’re quite cute together.
    Congrats!

It really isn’t a big deal, since in the show they play step brother and sister, no blood there…. And it really has nothing to do with their social life, so why don’t you people lay off? Let them be normal people that work together that are married, and allow them to pretend to be brother and sister for your entertainment…

I always liked them together. Yes she plays his sister on the show but they are so happy together. And I’m happy for them.
