It’s a Girl for Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck

Congrats to the happy couple, who became parents to a healthy baby girl on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The couple already have one daughter, Violet, age 3.
So far, no news on what the baby’s name might be, but I’ve got my fingers crossed for Magenta.

Violet is a nice, normal name, unlike Harlow, Paris, Honor Marie and all those horrible nouns some celebrities try to make us believe are names. I hope they’ll be as sensible and give the kid a nice name she can live with (Fifi Trixibelle, anyone?).
Maybe they’ll stick with the flower theme….Daisy or Lily…
Haha Wendie my parents had DOGS named Daisy and Lilly! When Lilly died they got a new one and named it Poppy (yuck!).
I’m hoping she goes with Pansy.
My middle name is Violet and I’m named after my late great grandmother and a flower, not the colour. Being named after a flower isn’t a bad thing, look at all the people named Rose etc.
She has an incredibly normal name, unlike Apple, or ugh, the list of awful celebrity children’s names is just too big and awful to list, but you get my point.
Hmmm flower names, how about Tulip or Iris or Chrysanthemum. Oh, oh, oooorrrr Cockscomb, that’s a flower’s name. Hee hee :)
I vote for Periwinkle (which is a flower AND a color). But I do like Magenta!
