Until then, though, here’s a clip from Zooey’s new flick, Yes Man, where her character sings a little feminist ditty about not being a whore.

I love BOTH Deschanel sisters! Zooey’s the eclectic oddball, while Emily’s the older and wiser of the two. Both are so endearing! Go them!

I really got into She & Him a couple of weeks ago. She has such a beautiful voice and I have been an M. Ward fan for awhile, so I was very excited to be educated about them! Now that’s how you switch from acting to singing without looking like a total jackass.

Not to step on any toes, but for some reason I instinctively abhorred Zooey Deschanel. It was thus quite the shock that I discovered that I enjoyed watching her sister’s work in Bones. For some reason Emily, while quirky enough to be sure, doesn’t rub me the wrong way that Zooey does. Not much of a compliment, but there you go.
The Happening didn’t help, but that really wan’t her fault.
