Jennifer Lopez Lands a New Movie Role

The triathlete mother formerly known as JLo has signed on to play the lead role in Plan B, a film being produced by CBS’s brand new movies division.
The project involves a single woman who attempts to conceive via artificial insemination and winds up in a quandary after she finds romance. Production is scheduled to start in the spring, making it one of the first projects to get a green light at CBS Films.
Let me get this straight: this plot didn’t work as a comedy when it starred Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, but we’re gonna give it another go with Jennifer Lopez?
Why don’t these studios hire me to consult for them? I am always right about these things.
Also: Did Jennifer Lopez make a single good movie after Selena? I’m coming up empty here.

The Cell was AWFUL!
I LOVED THE CELL! It’s the only movie I like that she’s in.
I’m in here, too. The Cell definitely counts.
if you like cliche chick-flick romances, she has. but i dont.
that dress she is wearing is incredible.
Why does she make faces like that on the red carpet. Why can’t she just smile? She looks like she’s getting ready to suck a dick.

WHY is everyone so down on Baby Mama? I’m 100% not the chick-flick type, but I thought that movie was absolutely hilarious. Dax Shepard’s character alone was worth the price of admission, and I don’t even LIKE Dax Shepard. My only gripe was that Romany Malco wore clothes the entire time.
Baby Mama was SOOO good, how could you not think so?

And J.Lo looks incredible here. I haven’t seen her look so beautiful in a while.

I think some of her movies have good messages…too bad those messages are carried out in such a…trite way.
Kinda like Hillary Duff? But older and more of a bitch? Yeah.

yeah jersey girl really doesnt count as a jlo vehicle i dont think. its a liv tyler movie and fortunately for her she never has to take responsibility for it.
i liked Enough… it was pretty good, but not many people know about it.
I remember this one. It was aiight. Although the horrible short wig she wore in it was killing me.

lol I was like, ‘j.lo’s movies suck! not again!’ but yes, selena was good. I liked Maid in Manhattan in a corny sort of way. The Cell creeped me out (dont really remember what it was about..) but yeah.. no more j.lo movies for me. not after the gigli fiasco.
CLEARLY her best movie was “U Turn” with Sean Penn in 1997.
Jennifer looks gorgeous here. Out of sight was really good.
I liked Baby Mama too…
But I do NOT understand while people continue to hire her.
I just watched Baby Mama because I heard it was “so funny” and “just hysterical” I think I laughed at one scene. DUMB! Next time I’ll stick with my own instincts and pass!
