There’s no better way to ask America nicely to stop talking about your no-longer-estranged husband’s stay in sexhab than to show up courtside at a Knicks game with your two young children.
David Duchovny and Tea Leoni brought their kiddos, Madelaine and Kyd, to watch the Knicks play the Pistons in New York on Monday night.
Those are very cute kids, although they do look terribly bored to be there. Also I always think it’s kind of shitty to drag children into a PR stunt, but I guess I see what they’re trying to say here. Like, “Please stop talking about how my husband’s a sex maniac; my children have to exist in the same universe as your magazines.”
Lastly, I have to say that I love their kids’ names. I think Madelaine (or any variation on the spelling) is always an adorable little girl’s name, and naming a boy “Kyd” is actually kind of a cool idea. It’s very cute on a child and very sexy on a man. I dig.

I’ve read that they actually call their kids by their middle names. The girl goes by “West” and the boy is “Miller”

They call the children by their middle names. Their daughter goes by “West”, and the boy is called “Miller”. Apparently Tea says it’s a tradition in her family. Personally, I’d rather be Madeline than West, but rather be Miller than Kyd.
like the story and the comments, but just one thing:
i really think it’s unfair that, every time celebrities do something with their families, they’re said to be using their children as a publicity stunt. when they’re out with their kids, they’re going to be photographed, because they’re *always* going to be photographed. what are they supposed to do – keep the kids in a closet at home and never spend time with them, never take them out to have fun? just because this couple takes their kids to a basketball game and gets photographed doesn’t mean they did it for the photos. if it were any other parent in the world, we’d never question that they were doing it because it’s fun to take your kids to a basketball game.
Wow, I couldn’t help but notice the size of Duchovny’s FEET.
They are huge.

@ torie – I agree with your premise, but in this case, they are in the front row of a Knicks game, where celebs KNOW they will be seen and photographed. They are not camping or boating or at Disneyland (where they can be sheltered from photogs if they want.) They were probably not forced to sit courtside.
And it’s only one photo, but the kids don’t look like they are having fun.

Did I miss something? I thought Tea was boinking Billy Bob Thornton. Is that a no-go now? Are the Duchovneys a couple again?

but to address the real issue, touched on so far only by mobby, i get that they are back together, but yes, it came out that she had been fucking billy bob. so how is it that his sex addiction (or internet p**n or whatever it was) is the joke here, and not her infidelities with a full-on troll?
