I like it. Not sure how I feel about the tights and shoes particularly, but it’s nothing awful. I’m quite fond of the dress actually..
But wow, those hands.
I think she look very pretty in this outfit… however she does look a bit uncomfortable posing for the cameras for some reason.
Everything from the waist up is gorgeous! Waist down? Eh… not so much…
Love the dress but I hate dark tights with bare arms. I would’ve went nude.
It looks like a tacky 80’s dress. Lose the tights and go with some simple black pumps, then you have yourself an outfit.
P.S. I would also do something different with my hair, go with more subtle bling, and completely redo the makeup. (Maybe a red lip and a cat-eye look with the liner.)
i kinda like the dress despite the fact that it looks like her cat got ahold of it. the tights are throwing it all off imo.
I agree with Hmmm re: “everything from the waist up…” except it kinda stops at the neck for me. Plus it looks like she’s got small black shoes on and standing on mirrors that are a little larger.

Yeah, gotta agree with Down Unda…SJP is not now, and never has been attractive. Dress is nice, shoes are aweful and the typical face that looks like it was ran over by a dull lawn mower.

P.S. GOD, even leggings cropped at the knee would look great! I honestly want to photoshop all of the things SJP could have done, and then email them to her.

I concur with KT. The dress would look lovely if it hadn’t been dragged through a thorny bush. Other than that, spot on SJP.
However on second glance, what’s with the black bit above the shoes? It looks like she’s wearing socks too. Not so good.

Is it just me or does she seem really nervous or uncomfy in every pic? look how she is holding her hands and fidgeting. She’s def not trying to pose.
I like the dress and absolutely despise the tights.
No opinion on the shoes. I can’t make a fair judgment on them since they’re impacted by the monstrosity of the tights.

Like it. Very not-in-my-40s look. She does look better than she has. Why is the STC sequel going to take so long that we won’t see it till 2010? That’s just silliness.
Something’s is wrong – I don’t think she looks good with all the black makeup on her eyes. I agree about the tights but I think it looks worse to have bare legs in cold weather. Maybe she should have saved the dress for warmer weather. I can’t imagine it’s very warm in NY right now.

?? She’s fading into the carpet. Runs in your stockings don’t look better just because they’re on your arms. Her make up does nothing but remind her of what she did the day before. I say this because the whole thing looks like she got all done up went to bed with a couple of porcupines, and stepped in front of the cameras. Look at the hair! Is this her version of the bad ass bitch ballerina that got kicked out for cracking the nutcrackers nuts? Craziness that belongs on a Christmas tree, as someone said.

umm pretty much dislike everything she wears. but even tho i find some of her outfits hideous, she’s a classy woman (and yes, it bugs me)
an obvious choice would to be to not wear those tights and shoes with that dress, and this time i think she should have gone with the obvious. i do like the dress, but wish she would have gone with bare legs and more put together hair.
I think it would look great, on someone 20 years younger!
