Gordon Ramsay’s New Side Dish Revealed

November 23rd, 2008 by wendie

The British tab News of the World  (I know, I know but I still think it’s true) is reporting that celebuchef Gordon Ramsay has been cheating on his wife for the better half of the last decade.  Hey…things happen.  People have lapses in judgement.  But a seven-year lapse?

Ramsay always seems to make a point of praising his amazing wife and happy marriage whenever he’s doing press.  I remember watching something on television (maybe I read it) where he said that his wife was the only woman in the world that turns him on.  And I remember thinking that was a little over the top.  So yeah, he really works the major family man image.   It’s disappointing.  Are there any faithful men left?

Now, about the other woman: Her name is Sarah Symonds and she’s a professional.  She’s a spokesperson for Ashley Madison, a website that is like Disneyland for adulterers.  She wrote a book titled Having An Affair? A Handbook For The Other Woman as well as a blog that she updates with lots of helpful hints on how to be a satisfying other woman.  Symonds has even been on Oprah touting the benefits of dating married dudes.  Personally, being a harlot sounds like way more work than being a wife.

  • Have a nice (VERY SIMPLE) dinner ready for when he comes over to you - served of course, wearing nothing more than an apron, and some very sexy stilettos.
  •  Prepare yourself (NOTE:  Always take longer on your preparation than the meal preparation).  Be refreshed, smelling great, and looking fabulous!  Always remember, you are in competition with the wife.
  • Be happy to see him, greet him warmly, and show sincerity in your desire to be with him (fake the sincerity if you ever need to).
  • Make sure your place is an oasis of peace, order, and tranquility.  Where your married man can feel relaxed and renew himself in body and spirit.

Yeah… it’s pretty easy being the other woman. No stretch marks or sagging boobs from bearing his children. You’re not exhausted from working a full time job AND having dinner ready and the kids to and from soccer practice and… the list goes on and on. Can you tell I hate adulterers?

  2. str says:

    “faking sincerity if necessary”

    OMFG

  3. rayne says:

if you have to fake the sincerity, what’s the point?

  4. beefy says:

Im listening to Halo by Beyonce as I’m reading this…..the irony…I can see Ramsay’s halo! It’s written all over his face! Oh, wait–that’s just an adulterer’s afterglow. Damn it! He’s an ass anyway. Strange hair, and many halos on his forehead.

  5. julia says:

I thought the hookers had to “fake the sincerity”?

  6. WindyCityWindy says:

    sick.

  7. Melissa says:

some things in this world are just plain ridiculous…..i got the same feeling right now about this article that I do when I see heidi montag….

its this type of stuff that makes me laugh out loud literally

  8. Melissa says:

not to mention i already hated gordon ramsay before i read this. something about the flip to this hair pisses me off even more now

  9. Bee Hind says:

    And it’s all about him-
make dinner, look fabulous, be happy to see him, clean your apartment.
Jesus is it still the 1950’s?

  10. KitKat says:

    I agree BeeHind.

I actually liked him, hes a great chef.. And a good authoritative figure in the restaurant.

But cheaters are a big no-no in my book. Shame on you Ramsay. :(

  11. slouchy says:

I wonder if he yells out profanity in bed.

  12. Love the beet, hate beets says:

    slouchy^^^ Doesn’t everyone?

  13. Down Unda says:

I clicked the link to check out Sarah Symonds.
If she’s the short-haired blonde in the picture, then I don’t know why he would stray from his wife!
His wife is much better looking than Symonds, so it’s not that.
Maybe worn out chicks in leopard print Old Navy dresses are his thing?

  14. sparks says:

what’s up with the way he holds her arm, looks like he’s really squeezing it, doesn’t look comfortable. anyway I never liked him I hope she divorces him if this is true

  15. Louise says:

I am a fierce promoter of the idea that women should try and support each other, not compete against each other (for the attention of guys). Therefore, I try not to talk shit about other girls, even if I don’t necessarily like what they do. But this woman, with her how-to-be-the-other-woman-website and tips and books, is so effing mean and selfish and overall horrible that I don’t mind pointing out that fact. Her “thing” is, apparently, to enable men to destroy other women for no good reason, in order to make a living or stardom or whatever out of it. I don’t think I’d hesitate to slap her. And the cheating men of course, but that goes without saying.

  16. ThatLisa says:

    here here Louise!

  17. Persistent Cat says:

    I like Louise.

  18. catlass says:

I hope his wife gets a huge divorce settlement and finds a younger, better looking man. What an asshole!

  19. Down Unda says:

His name is his brand, so he could well be fucked. If not, his father-in-law Chris Hutcheson, who is responsible for the business operations of his restaurant empire, will get him. :-)

BTW, apparently Sarah Symonds used to be the mistress of convicted and imprisoned British author Lord Jeffrey Archer. (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman/article687583.ece and http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-501371/The-mistress-self-delusion-Lord-Archers-ex-lovers-guide-virtues-woman.html) She’s really not that hot… she must be able to suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

  20. long dong silver says:

His BBC America show I think it’s called Ramsay’s Kitchens(?), and is from the last five years (before he got famous here) is really good and he comes across very sincere. I could see him saying that about his wife. Will be interesting to see what happens!

  21. rockcriedout says:

I really hope this isn’t true. they seem very happy together.

  22. Judy says:

I agree with Louise. And as for Sarah Symonds get your own fucking man, you pathetic second fiddle.

  23. jojo says:

Jeez, she must be so charcoaled on the inside. I’m surprised the nastiness doesn’t yet seep through. She will die old and lonely, never having any real love and regretting her entire existence.

  24. Hallie says:

Ugh, that passage made me feel sick. I feel sad for women who don’t realize how ridiculously pathetic it all sounds.

  25. Mrs Mia Wallace says:

ooooh that chick’s uppance will come!! I hope she gets what she deserves, low self-esteem, and an STD. I mean seriously, who writes that crap? She deserves to be put down. Shame on you Ramsay. I’ve had many an argument where I have defended you and your bullying ways. I believed it all to be for the greater good, but now I know it was all lies! LIES! No sir, I don’t like it.

  26. Caz2 says:

She may be a bit of fun right now, but older age is going to very cold and lonely for her, no man will look on her as marriage material.

  27. quirkygirlkitten says:

her parents must be so proud…

  28. mobby says:

    Ramsey’s an A-1 Asshole.

  29. Vortinax says:

She’s a professional, allright, and something else beginning with ‘pro’ as well. Let’s see - does it for money, check. Is a bit on the side, check. Disdains the very people (men) who pay her bills, check. To what extent is this person not a prostitute? The only difference is that most sex workers don’t claim emotional involvement - this is part of the appeal, you pay them to leave. Ramsey has often spoken of his affection for the Italian way of life; does that include their fondness for adultery?

  30. Erica says:

It’s disappointing to see a woman encouraging adultery and ultimately inflicting misery and pain on a fellow woman. I know you don’t believe in karma, Beet, but I sincerely hope karma comes around to this bitch! “You are in competition with his wife”?! Women like this make me sick. And REAL women don’t have to fake sincerity or always serve dinner in stilettos keep a man interested. Sorry for the rant. I’m getting married soon and stories like this just piss me off lol.

  31. Jamie says:

Beet, to answer your question: No, there are no faithful men around anymore. Even the best of men, the men who are worth the most, will still cheat once, even if they never do again. You’re seriously kidding yourself if you think some man won’t ever cheat on you. Its inevitable. The trick is making him feel like shit once you know and then learning to retrust. Its the sick lining of a relationship that makes it grow stronger. And it also helps your awareness that there is no glass castle or prince charming.

As for Ramsey, he is just a typical ass that fame got the better of.

  32. Nita says:

Not sure why anyone would care about this. It’s his relationship with his wife that matters, and from long ago I learned that many British and European wives are less concerned about sexual fidelity than their U.S. counterparts. Does it matter when you have your home, your children, your social standing and public acknowledgement? As long as he shows respect within the home.

I still love his cooking sense and probably always will.
