If true, good for them. Lilo clearly had a pretty traumatic upbringing and therapy is probably needed to move on from all that drama and issues it has created for her. If you want to have a healthy relationship it makes sense to bring your bf/gf with you. I did the same after rehab, its actually recommended.

I’m not sure how you “keep” someone (a 22-year-old, no less) away from drugs and alcohol. I can’t keep my 17-year-old son away from them and Lindsay is an adult. It’s not up to other people to “keep” her away from those influences; it’s up to her. It’s her responsibility to control her behavior, and it’s wrong to blame Sam for Lindsay’s behavior. If a person doesn’t want to do drugs or drink they’re not going to, no matter how much it’s shoved at them. Not that I think Sam is shoving them at her.
Also, when I was 22 years old, my friends and I spent the majority of our time drinking, partying and getting laid. And we weren’t rich celebrities, so seeing a star do it doesn’t surprise me in the least. And I think the standards are far more strict these days. I think every one of us (my friends and I) would have been shuttled off to rehab had the same standards been applied to us back then.

I don’t believe the outlandish fight stories, its a recession so I suppose hacks do what they have to do to sell rags. Plus its Lilo so people are inclined to believe whatever messed up things are being said about her. I really think you guys need to cool it off on this relationship, and give them some space. Nobody wants to see her going back to her trainwreck self destructive ways. LL has been looking happier and healthier then for years since SamRo. And couples therapy is not a bad thing, it shows commitment and that they really want the relationship to work. And with that crazy family and past addictions therapy surely is the responsible thing to do.

yeah, i would venture to say she is using again which is never good for a relationship, however, i also think that her being bi-sexual is an issue for them. lindsay strikes me as the type who would want the best of both worlds…being with sam is maybe stable & probably makes her happy & comfortable, but maybe she misses being with a man…she is probably a major flirt & getting bored.
