Not Divorced Yet!

Despite being hounded constantly by rumors of trouble in their marriage, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick walked the red carpet hand-in-hand at a bridge dedication ceremony for the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights in New York last night, appearing very much a united couple. I think these two are forever. I hope so.

She looks good in these pics, but he, on the other hand, looks bloaty, pasty, and really unhappy. He looks mildly depressed and slightly disconnected in all the pap photos I’ve seen of him out & about in the company of his wife, at events or whatever, for quite a while now. I definitely think there’s been problems with that marriage for some time, but that they’ve both been really trying to make it work, maybe one of those “for the kids” kind of things.
I can’t stand SJP, though, and Broderick comes off as sort of exhaustedly pussy-whipped, like she controls him and bosses him around kinda-thing. But I bet they stay married, for a few ore years at least. They just LOOK like they’re trying hard to keep their marriage.

wow. sjp never fails to make me embarrassed for my closet. she is truly a timeless icon of classic style and grace. every time i see her, i am just astounded by how lovely she manages to look, whether in jeans and a tank or in a red carpet ensemble. this girl is the definition of ’style icon’.

I’m sorry, but I think her dress is horrid. Whose closet did she dig this out of, the Salvation Army thrift store? And that big bag doesn’t help, neither does the chunky necklace.

She looks pretty good here. Much better than in that silver-y thing she wore to the SATC DVD release party (?). As for their marriage, every relationship that lasts that long has its ups and downs. Whatever their reason to make it work, kudos for them.

I agree with Maya. In the second picture Sara Jessica does look great.
What a shame that Matthew Broderick can’t handle a strong partner. Sara was the sole supporter of her family when she was still a teenager. I’m sure if no-talented Matthew Broderick was thrust in to fame, Sara would not degrade him and their marriage by cheating on him. Jerk!

Never ending love, don’t judge them, be happy for them. Strong sound marriages in Hollywood are very hard to find, so when you have one like theirs….LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!!

Staying married does not equal being in love or being happy. They do not look either but I hope I am wrong for the sake of their kid.
