I have been pregnant three times and loved everyone of them. I wish her the best of luck and there is nothing better than being a parent and seeing your child for the first time.

I tried all sorts of things, from spicy food to plain out sleeping with my husband…doctor’s said that is the quickest way to get the labor started especially if you are over due like she is.

Also…she should be careful with these “foot massages”…there are certain techniques that can actually HARM an unborn child.

She does look like she’s sucking a lemon.

A pain free labour? Gosh is it possible?? I had decided I never wanted to have that “experience” [a human cranium forcing its way through your genitals] but if it is pain free then I might….

isn’t sex the way to get it going though [the labour] they had that on friends I recall, and yes since I have no friends who are old enough to have babies or have one myself [thank god] this is my only frame of reference.

Actually, your feet have a gazillion nerve endings in them and reflexology – which is a pretty old practice – can actually induce labor. Now that I’ve imparted that totally worthless piece of information, can I as WHY Ashlee ALWAYS looks like she’s sucking on a frickin’ lemon?

Hmm…Ashley sounds like a Simpson all right. Trying different foot massages to go into labor? Ashley, honey, the baby is in your UTERUS. Feet are not really part of the equation. See, that might be where the confusion is…

Most doctors won’t let you go over 10 days overdue. Midwives and money will give you more time, and inducing generally means a hard fast (read pain pain) labor. They used to let you go longer. I was almost an entire month late.
