I was a huge Trekkie growing up, but I was raised on the cast of The Next Generation, not the older stuff, so this kind of interests me less. I’d be way more into a movie about Picard as a little kiddo — or, better yet, as a twenty-something hottie. Grrrrrrr. Oh, Jean Luc, you’ll always be my first crush.

I’m not a Trekkie and into Vulcan mind melds and all that crap, but I’ll admit this looks decent. It has a decent cast… except J.J. Abrams directed it. He’s so into himself, he’ll screw it up somehow.
I could never get into that Next generation stuff… when one of the stars is wearing my car filter as “modern sunglasses,” I kinda lose interest.
Now they need to get working on finishing the A-Team and Magnum P.I. movies!

Beet, one of my first crushes was on whatshisname - Captain Kirk - when he was young. Something about that spandex space suit, rawrrr. Can’t wait to see the new movie, I have high hopes!

Ooooh Myyy Jonas.. I have never been a trekkie at ALL (raised on Star Wars though) and this looks really good. I may just have to start watching the reruns… and was that Harold? you know, from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle? I think it was. Idk. but yeah this looks really good

I was a Star Trek fan, old and next generation and this to me looks like GQ models blowing up a lot of shit in outer space. I was actually mildly embarrassed for everyone in that movie when I watched the trailer. It just looks…bad.

I’m a massive fan on the next gen but my friends hate star trek.
this is way more teen friendly so hopefully I can drag them to the cinema,
