It’s not the fact that she expressed Sam wasn’t her type, it was her bashing Sam for looking masculine. This is NOT a gay issue. Gender identity and sexual orientation are two different things, and they are not dependent on one another no matter how much of our socialization attempts to teach this. Gender roles were formed and have been kept on the basis of sexism. By degrading Sam for not fitting society’s gender roles you are falling into the sexist mindset that keeps women so far behind men. Let people be who they are, and show them respect. That includes sexual attracting. Lindsey Lohan is not committing a mistake if she doesn’t go out and find the “femmiest” girl out there. Sam Ronson is still a female. Gender and sex are not the same thing.

Do you have any idea what a chicken has to go through to mass produce eggs? Have you ever seen a factorized dairy, and how the milk is mechanically extracted from a cow. Best one yet…When a baby cow is born for the first tthree days it is placed from womb to a 1 foot by 3 foot holding pen designed to build fat not muscle before it is immediately slaughtered. I am against fur. But think its time Peta thinks of a different way of protesting. It’s not working apart from maybe they are getting a bit of press in blogs and celebrity news. If they wanna actually change things they should be brave enough to attack politicians and policy makers. As for SamRo I think she is adorable and a refreshing antidote to the rest of hollywood.
