Justin Timberlake’s Hospitality Called Into Question

November 15th, 2008 by Wendie

Justin Timberlake is the newest target of a disgruntled employee lawsuit.  A former busboy who worked at Timberlake’s New York restaurant Southern Hospitality is suing him and his partners for inadequate pay and lack of overtime and gratuity compensation.  Fifty employees are included in the suit.  I’m not a labor lawyer but are the concepts of minimum wage, proper salary distribution and overtime after 40 hours of working really difficult to grasp?  Of course, why work somewhere for over a year when you aren’t being properly treated?  Hmmm.  I predict settlement.

Why do singers always open restaurants?  Vocal talent seems so unrelated to the restaurant biz.  If Gordon Ramsay releases a debut album I seriously give up.

Justin needs a new look. The forester/newsboy/old man look is getting old.
