Holy crap, thanks, guys! I read the wiki link, too. What a way to go. All for a flat tummy and perky boobs. Dang. It really sounds like she should have listened to that first doc. From my memory, without google, she wanted to have pounds removed by having the bypass surgery.
She want to a doctor who said she wasn’t a good candidate. She then went to another doctor who did it.

If I remember correctly, he was actually a pretty famous plastic surgeon, pretty sure he was on an earlier show that showed medical procedures.

A few days later she died of complications…

After she died, he went downhill and lost his license as well…

What kind of surgery did she have, and why did she die from it in time? Spoon feed me! I refuse to Google this. I always wind up on some fan message board knee deep in a thread where ten longstanding members are schooling some newbie and in return accused of being part of a “click,” which always gets under my skin because apparently no one on the Internet knows how to spell “clique” and you know it’s not a typo because they do it over, and over, and over, and over again.

But Kanye, do you honestly regret becoming famous and getting into this lifestyle?

I can’t help but be cynical about this comment. I never liked his personality, and I just get the feeling that sometimes he uses this for some sort of gain. I don’t deny that he is really in pain, and I would never wish ill like that on a person, but I just don’t feel right about anything involving him and what comes out of his mouth.

Don’t be so hard on yourself Kanye….NOT your fault. And, besides, look at the wonderful life/experiences/joys/pride etc his mother got BECAUSE of his fame.
