Unless he’s in a Russian prison, I don’t feel sorry for him. And even then, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. The rest of us manage to stay out of prison; we don’t need to go to prison to know we don’t want to live in prison.

At least he’s enduring some form of “punishment”. The local jail he’s being held in until his transfer to a “real” prison is probably poorly run. However, he may find out that the local jail is not as bad as the prison he’s going to spend most of his sentence at.

Hope he gets everything he deserves.

While I feel that there are most certainly jails out there somewhere in this country with less than humane conditions, it should not take until a celebrity complains for something to be done about the problem. Ordinary people matter just as much.

That’s almost as sad as the Bali Bombers appealing the firing squad because they believed it could be painful. Duh! I’m pretty sure it wasn’t as painful as the screws, ball bearings, and other shrapnel that ripped through the crowd in Kuta.

Unless he was sentenced to freaking SaÄŸmalcÄ±lar prison, in this day and age, I have no doubt it’s some cornfed conman exaggerating about conditions a la Nick Hogan.

Yeah, jail is not supposed to be fun, but it’s not supposed to be like Guantanamo Bay either. He’s probably being a pussy and exaggerating, but if he’s actually telling the truth and there is excrement in the shower, rats, and if the food is spoiled, then I agree with him and he should be transferred, along with his inmates. Criminals deserve punishment, but I don’t think they should be treated like animals.
