Here’s the newly released set of promo pictures for B’s upcoming album, I Am Sasha Fierce.
This looks more uncomfortable than fierce, IMHO.

she’s rihanna exploring her fierceness through geometry. that bike vest conflicts with the other 3 pics..especially the triangle space suit. imho.

you can-not start off as a beauty queen for the 1st 10 years of your career and now be ‘edgy’. it doesn’t work that way. it comes across as gimicky. sorry.

you could look at each shot as the cover for the George Michael’s album, the Rihanna album, the Pink Floyd album, and the Grace Jones album. i second rhoniluv, but i’m not gonna front. i do listen to her ring song and the femalecop song…the video….not the song…grew on me. i still change the radio when the song comes on. give it 2 weeks tops and the ring song will annoy me just as much….

whenever i have a pop/style/music dilemma i run it by the REAL TRUTH…my 15 yr old daughter.
and i asked her, last night, what does she think of the name ‘Sasha Fierce’. and SHE said…”uh, what?”
i asked her if it sounded cool or corny and she said “corny…uh, what is that?”
i asked her if it is even cool to say ‘fierce’ she laughed at me “uh…NO!”
when i told her that was the name of Beyonce’s new album and alterego, my daughter proceeded…
to put her hoody over her head and look down to her lap.
