I think the Playboy generation is ending. Hugh is very desperate to cling onto what ever is left of it so he doesn’t care if those twins have a criminal history or not. The times are definitely changing, technology is changing and people are not buying his crap anymore. Hef will be soon forgotten!.

I don’t think Hef will ever be “forgotten,” I disagree with that, but it’s true that the Playboy generation is ending. Sad, but there it is. Seeing Hef just makes me sad. You can tell that he’s totally missing Holly and everyone and he just went with the stupid new girls to save face. He’s not really into them at all.

But Hef always had many girlfriends and has always been in relationships, so it shouldn’t be surprising that he’s moved on so quickly. I don’t really believe the “love” bit, though… Even Holly was “chosen” by a former 1st GF to replace her! it’s just his M.O. He’s always had his “Girls Next Door,” years before Kendra and these girls came along with their supposed new creation. Remember Bunny-whats-her-name and how jealous she still seemed of the new girls, even decades after being one of his girlfriends herself. Oh yeah, he “loves” her still, too!
I think its sad, i wont be watching the new series with the two twins, i am sticking with holly kendra and bridget, they were the original next door girls, did bunny do a tv show and his other girls, i really like them, shame on you hef!

Regardless – I don’t agree with those of you who say it’s not real love. I mean, who gets to decide how many people you can love in your life? I would say that he’s loved each and every one of his girlfriends, maybe not in the same way and maybe not equally but I think he definitely loved them. If he didn’t he wouldn’t have had to keep them around.
I had no idea they were doing a new Girls Next Door. I won’t watch. I love Holly & Bridget (and ok, sometimes Kendra too) and they were what made the show.

hey ya’ll I never really leave messages, but the original girls next door was it they all had different personality about themselves and I thought that there were there to stay for awhile. they had an awesome thing going i loved the show and always recored it and talk about it with friends. i will not watch the new girls they seem to paper cutout to me and i think too young to make notice. the twins was a really bad idea and now there are 4 new ones? i will only watch the original ones reruns after this season. good luck to those three and i hope they go far!!!!!!!!!!! see ya!!!!!!!!!!

Kendra I am so sorry about this whole situation, I feel terrible for you girls. I have had personal experiences with these “twins” and let me just tell you, they’re nothing to brag about. They’re liars, they’re deceitful, they try to steal girls’ boyfriends, they destroy peoples property, they will start drama for no apparent reason and they do not deserve to be a part of The Girls Next Door. It makes me so angry to see them just push you wonderful girls aside like this, I honestly do not know what Hef is thinking…the show will definitley not be the same. I hope this is just a phase for him and he will wake up. Keep your heads up ladies!! I’ll be watching… :(

I will always love the original 3. Holly, Bridget and Kendra are the only Girls Next Door, those trash twins are cheap dime store knock offs of three genuine people. Holly and the girls were personally invited by the prince of Monaco to attend one of his events. Those three convicts will never be that classy. The Girls Next Door will never be the same without those three. They were there because they loved Hef you could just tell. Those ugly freaks are there because he’s lonely and depressed and they are greedy little gold diggers. I refuse to watch the show with out those three.

We LOVE Holly, kendra, and bridget because they are the original trio and there they shit and theese new bitches are dumb!! I hope hef re-thinks this right away! I’m personally proud of holly for overcoming her depression and doing what makes her happy. 7years of bonding can’t be easy to just end. But both her and Hef understand eachother wich I think is awesom even thought theyre taking diffrent paths.
I totally understand Holly wanting to leave also. 7 years is a long while and she’s not getting any younger. The mansion and Hef were probably great but now she’s mor mature she wants to get out of that crazy life and just…settle down.
as for Hef I think he’s a lil heartbroken and maybe? that was his reason for the impulsive take on the twins. idk but I don’t like them very much and dont think they’ll last long… you can’t just pick a gf and make it work….

I love the three original girls! I was one of those reluctant viewers in the beginning because I wasn’t really interested in what “Hugh Hefner’s Girlfriends” were doing. Hoowever, once I watched a few episodes I began to like the firls for who they were. Though many people want to point out each of the girls’ flaws I think we all can agree that there is not a person on this planet who is perfect. Kendra was the sporty one who wasn’t the smartest girl out there(but neither are most of the other women I run into on a regular basis), Bridget was the natural beauty with the brains(who was a little naive which is actually refreshing when you think about it), and Holly was the All American girl next door (who probably was expecting more from Hef than he was able or willing to give ie marriage and kids but I do believe she trully cared for Hef). I don’t like the twins simply because at least Holly, Bridget, and Kendra had their own opinions about things and didn’t stand behind Hef like a backdrop on the red carpet. They seem to have no individuality either. Are they the same person? I understand they are twins, but most twins have their own personality. I am sure that this is a way for Hef to continue making money on “The Girls Next Door” series. This will be the last season for me and I am sure the producers will try to continue the series with the new girls, however I doubt it will make it a full new season! Wishing Hef and the orig girls the best of luck in whatever you do. I wish you the imagination to have a dream, the drive to go for what you want, and the wisdom to know when what you thought you wanted is not necissarily whay you really want, whether it is in your career, love life, or just in your every day decisions.

No one will replace Kendra, Holly and Bridget. Simple. They are what attracted us to the show and kept us watching it was based on them! not hef not twins or whoever, just them!

I feel bad for the original girls because basically they were used and that has to hurt. They are beautiful and they will go on with their lives and will do many other things and they don’t need Hef’s help. I don’t like or dislike the new girls. I don’t want to watch the new show though and it has nothing to do with them being “meth heads” I just got comfortable with the original cast and don’t feel like doing it all over again. I think these new girls are doing what their predecessors did they are taking advantage of a good situation – good for a living situation, good for their publicity and good for the money and who cares if they have been in trouble – excuse me who the hell is perfect? I still believe that if you clean up your act and your life you should have the chance to do anything you can with your life. Drugs aren’t just a trailer trash problem they are everywhere. I don’t really like Hef anymore, he is getting to that age where he is having a hard time just living, he should be thinking about what is really important in life now that he made it this far because he may not have many more birthdays to come. Sex is fun but it is an empire built on sand religiously speaking. He isn’t a very deep individual, he gloms on to the status that made him the man he is today but has taken it no where else. I think how he treated those girls was wrong of course we will never know if this is just a sensational way to get more coverage and they’re contracts were up or something. It is sort of nasty to think about the twins doing “Grandpa Hefner” and the reason I say that I don’t like him is that he hasn’t taken his life anywhere new in the past 50 years it’s sad he has no other way to identify himself but through his barrage of a blond nudist colony. What is their to respect? Dumping some really nice girls, one that seemed to genuinely love him to get it on with a couple of no name nowhere gold digging blonds shows how deep he really runs. The new twins-YUK!!! I will no longer watch TGND when the original girls leave. Who the hell wants to watch these two, no nice bods, no personality, no fun!
