Sad News

According to Fox News, the mother and brother of actress-singer Jennifer Hudson, were found murdered in their Chicago home today at approximately 3PM. Not much information has been released yet but they apparently sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Sincere condolences go out to the Hudson family.

Mother or grandmother? Apparently her Mother has been dead for years and she was raised by her grandmother. The Grandmother was shot in the head, and the guy was shot in the chest. Guy is rumored to be her older brother. And her 7 year old nephew is missing as well, theres amber alerts all over the area around Chicago.
Most mainstream media reports I have read, identify the woman deceased as Darnell Hudson, mother of Jennifer. Her grandmother, Julia Hudson, is deceased.
Yea, figured that out but didn’t want to post twice in a row. My friend was sadly mistaken and very wrong. I’m from the chicago area and I’m hearing all about this on teh news. Stupid news, turn back on my NCIS!

Who ever killed her mother and brother kidnapped her 7 year old nephew for ransom as well. There is an amber alert but I would imagine a kill the kid, and suicide will be the ending to this sad story. I can’t even imagine how this girl feels right now. Too sad.
Turns out Jennifer’s mother let a man who served time for attempted murder live with her. Here’s a snip from TMz:
“Police are looking for William Balfour, who they claim could be with the missing 7-year-old. According to records, Balfour listed Hudson’s mother’s address as a place of residence within the last year. According to the Illinois Department of Corrections website, Balfour is currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder.
