  1. Kaylove says:

She’s reminding me of Nicole Kidman here!

  2. Down Unda says:

She’s hot, but somewhere there is a turkey drumstick missing one of those paper socks.

  3. rysky66 says:

I love it…it looks just like the curtains in my Jetson house

  4. Anonymous says:

    kinda futuristic, love it!

  5. Sarahe says:

ITA with rysky66… I think to make it complete for her Jetson house, it would need to be purple. But you can’t be picky when you find Vintage Jetson these days.

  6. beeetlover says:

    baaad hair

she can do so much better

  7. k says:

her eyes always freak me out

  8. Miss Malice says:

Uhg send it all back to the 80’s
Frizzy hair is NEVER acceptable, unless you just got up of course…

  9. erin says:

totally seeing the nicole kidman thing… and my hair looks almost identical and i just airdryed it outta the shower…

  10. amb says:

I kind of love this dress. It’s all futuristic and cute.

  11. Monica says:

    oh. god.
miranda must be laughing her ass off right now!

  12. Snowblood says:

Kaylove, you’re spot-on, she looks SO Kidman, here! Which is fine, I love Nicole Kidman’s beauty, I think she’s really gorgeous, albeit maybe a bit too frozen-faced lately. But that dress is awful. Awful! That’s a wear-once-only kind of dress, which only could ever be worn by someone who’s extremely, extremely thin. That visual effect is – awful!! Way to make a woman look like she’s got hopeless pear-thighs even when she’s underweight! Stupid design. I wonder who the designer is?

  13. Snowblood says:

And Down Unda, you absolutely nailed it, that dress DOES totally look like those turkey drumstick paper thingies!

  14. Kitty says:

I used to work for a company that owned a tall revolving restaurant tower in our city. She kinda looks like the mascot we had for that. Unfortunate.

  15. Tamara says:

spacy but the shoes dont match

  16. mel says:

the hair is a catastrophe, the dress i dont mind.

  17. Holly says:

Holy crap!! I thought that was Nicole Kidman at first!!

  18. foxyroxy says:

top of the dress = yes

bottom of the dress = no

top of the hair = yes

bottom of the hair = oh lord no. when are pretty girls going to stop trying look like they have a bad perm? i lived thru the bad perm days–guess what–they’re STILL bad!

  19. Pepper says:

I like it but she does sorta look like she should be stuck on the end of a leg o’ lamb:) Like I can see Tom and Jerry fighting over her. If that reference is too obscure then you’re just too young:) But I do think she looks pretty. The hair though…….

  20. Leo says:

    i totally agree with foxyroxy

  21. Marx says:

She looks like she ate something for this event. Or the perm/ shape dress makes her look healthy. GO KATE!

  22. hil says:

i think she was trying to be different, duh. she didn’t go to far though. i like it.

  23. Andrea says:

Love the dress. The hair looks like she didn’t feel like doing it right, so she just pulled it back and went crazy with hairspray.

  24. B says:

another participant in the futuristic silverware themed school dance

  25. keightlynn says:

I bet if someone put her in the microwave she’d catch on fire/blow up.

  26. MS says:

at least she looks like she has been eating, I approve

  27. beefy says:

She looks like a vertical satin throw pillow someone didn’t finish, leaving extra fabric. Hair reminds me of—-troll hair before it starts to separate from the head because you brushed it so many times.

  28. Caz2 says:

    Christmas cracker?

  29. Skye says:

Hey guys, cut her some slack. We need to compliment her for turning recycled cans into a dress. Not everyone can dig through a recycle bin and pull out such a stunning little number! And we should also follow Kates example, and save on electricity by NOT blow drying, flat ironing or curling our hair!

    Good job, Kate!

  30. sarah ashley says:

i actually choked on my starbucks when i read keightlynn’s comment.

i put aluminum foil in the microwave once. it made lightening. imagine what would happen if we shoved her in there? or, perhaps she already tried … and that’s how she got the electric-shocked hair?

(at least she’s been eating something though. thank god.)

  31. J says:

She looks like a tower of cupcakes

  32. J says:

    With metallic frosting. Mmmm.

  33. She looks like Judy Jetson.

  34. ADru says:

The dress is kind of cool, in yes, that “Judy Jetson” sort of way. But the hair is icky icky icky icky.

  35. layley says:

OH JEEEZ!!!!! she looks like a woman version of the tin man.

  36. me says:

Turkey drumsticks…that is so friggin’ funny. I am seriosly laughing out loud. You know not just typing lol, but actually laughing out loud.

  37. olivia says:

that hair makes her look like an 8th grader from the early 90’s.

  38. cj says:

I actually love the dress; it’s fun and Jetson-y, and I think it actually flatters her. But the hair, the smirk, the pose–uh-uh. She does look like a low-rent Nicole Kidman.

  39. lauren says:

i love the futuristic appeal, and i think she wants to show that if nicole kidman’s contract needs replenishing, she’ll partake in the game.
