I come from a very acadian/native American kind of place.
I grew up next to a reserve, I have Indian ( native) family members, then mixed in with acadian. Research 1755… it’s very interesting.

I always get defensive at the term “frog” or “block head”.
Growing up on the Acadian peninsula in NB, I’ve been exposed to a lot of prejudice from Quebecois, Parisian. Not to mention the people who took french immersion, who think they are better than you because they learned how to speak french by a English teacher….

I think you got defensive because of my term frog. I was actually making fun of stupid Americans that are xenophobic and specifically who always attack the French.

BTW I am from Ottawa, my wife from Vanier (very french part of Ottawa) and we both have french last names.
