Ick!!!

WTF was Sarah Silverman thinking before she left the house to tape her Letterman appearance?

Sarah, you know there are going to be cameras outside Letterman’s studio.

If I were Jimmy Kimmel, I’d dump you all over again the minute I saw you in this get-up.

Listen, sweetheart, I always stand up for you. Whenever someone’s like “OMG I can’t stand Sarah Silverman, she’s so annoying,” I’m the first one in there like “No! You just don’t get her! She’s like the funniest thing on the planet!” And this is how you repay me, Sarah? With a corduroy skirt?

I love this look. I think she looks great!

  2. N says:

I disagree. I think she looks cute, and although the outfit is leftover from Reality Bites, it shows her adorable figure AND is far less wack than the 80’s prom dresses she tends to wear.

  3. N says:

When I said I disagree, I meant with Beet’s assesment, not your comment, Mimi! She does look so cute…and what does she do to her skin to keep it so flawless?

  4. str says:

the outfit i like, but these colours just don’t work together for me

It’s a very retro clown-suit. Sarah is a professional clown and this worked for her as a clown-suit. When she walked out I thought “she’s an R. Crumb Girl” (R. Crumb was a cartoonist who had a thing for girls in boots and short skirts) In fact this would have been a very hip outfit in 1973, the color scheme and the boots are very much of that era.

She did a comedy bit about hiding her crotch with a Letterman T-shirt when she sat down for the interview, and looked shocked into the camera when she noticed her cleavage showing. You know she rehearsed that.

Those boots need to be cremated…along with the skirt..she’s cute though

Sarah Silverman stopped by Brit Brit’s house, stole her crazy boots and flew them to NY for her Letterman appearance… you remember the boots, the ones Brit Brits wore everyday she was bat shit crazy…

  9. Anonymous says:

wait beet, the corduroy isn’t even the worst part, it’s the boots! and what are those peeking out from underneath, SOCKS??!!

  10. censorthis says:

hey beet, it’s obvious you’ve finally found the one jewish girl on the planet that has no style. why don’t you offer to help her with her new look. and while you’re at it call peter criss and tell him you found his boots!

  11. Eyes of Green says:

I swear to you, I had a pair of boots just like that in 4th grade…

  12. Sickitten says:

Oh my! We’d better get on our Rabbi matchmaking soapboxes!

  13. torie says:

the skirt’s not even the worst part – it’s the boots that make me want to kill something. but sarah silverman is cool and… erm… i like her necklace?

  14. Eliza Jane says:

Yeah, it looks like a 3 year old dressed her in the dark. At least she has her boots on the right feet…

  15. foxyroxy says:

tragic. poor sarah. can’t she afford a stylist?

  16. Alex S. says:

Are comedians ever expected to dress well?

Hers reminds me of my first-day-of-school outfit in Junior High. God, did I think I was going to win friends over with that one. Go easy on me… it was in 1990….

  17. DiamondRoulette says:

She needs to return that outfit to Contempo Casuals.

  18. Sheila says:

Am I the only one that gets your ha-ha, Beet?

  19. Jo says:

The outfit’s not that bad, but girlfriend’s got terrible taste in shoes. I have noticed this before.

  20. ThatLisa says:

love her, hate the get-up. totally agree.

  21. Caz2 says:

Ohhhh myyyy godddd, what the hell was she thinking?!?!?

  22. Fartface McMuffin says:

I think she is making fun of Britney & those boots that we all thought would never be removed from her feet a year ago…

  23. frogirl1978 says:

Corduroy skirts are super in right now. mad retro 80’s things has regressed from punky glam right back to everyone dressing like they are from the set of Punky Brewster and Good Times. mixed feelings about it myself
