October 8th, 2008 by Evil BeetSeriously I thought for a minute that she was gonna be like “What if every time something was bad, everybody said, ‘That’s so Asian.’” I really wanted that to happen. So, so badly. But it didn’t. So I think this PSA is totally retarded.

okay, hilary duff, good job NOT coming off like everybody’s mom just because you look like you’re on your third divorce.
and yeah, i think saying “that’s so gay” sucks, and i don’t say it… but i also don’t walk up to people in stores and act like a dick.
whatever. i just think that seriously, for the sake of getting this message across, it would’ve been nice if the spokesperson hadn’t seemed like a bigger douchebag than the “that’s so gay” perpetrator.

well, for me, i think it’s funny that the pound puppy mixed breed oriental chick is chewing a big wad of what i assume is bean curd or fried grasshopper or one of those weird things that the mamasan at the asian massage parlor i used to frequent would often be chewing. but otherwise, regarding the theme off the PSA, i think it’s high time we started to crack down on prejudice in america and i applaud every effort to do so.

FINALLY they have made a PSA commercial that actually makes a good point to an important issue. When people say that it makes them sound so ignorant.
Take all the budgeting from the those anti-marijuana commercials, and put it into PSAs encouraging people to more accepting and less judgmental of those different than them.

Well, G ay actually means happy, then it took on the meaning of homosexual in slang, and now it seems to have taken on another meaning of wrong or bad. Words are subject to evolution Hills, deal with it. How old is she anydays? She seems like a “soccar mom”

Hilary was given a script and directed, so it is not as if she is responsible for every aspect of the piece. I think that it is great that someone with Hilary Duffs’ reputation had the decency to make an effort in the right direction and leave herself open to all the put downs of those who are so much cooler. But then, I’m so…Mexican.

haha… I seriously thought she would say ‘thats so Asian’ too. It would have made a lot more sense and probably would have gotten a little buzz, like ‘Hillary Duff hates Asians’ or ‘Hillary Duff thinks all Asians are gay!’

Why would you criticize someone or something that is trying to end bullying and harassment. hmm Maybe because you are a bully and you continue to use very demeaning language that puts people down. By Sayint “That’s so gay” You are putting down an identity that many people have tried to fight for and are continuesly being harassed because of and thats very cruel. You also say “That’s retarded” why would you say that. You are just undermining the cause and you know instead of putting down it because you don’t like her. Maybe you should look at the intentions that it has. Lets face it. You are just to ignorant to acknowledge that there are people that you hurt everyday by your careless and selfish actions.
