I swear to God, every time there’s a new photo of this girl, I run to her Wikipedia page, like, “Is she 18 yet or what?” I’d even settle for 16 at this point. But no, she’s still 14, just like she was the last time I checked. And it totally doesn’t help that she looks about 10. Hurry up and age, Dakota, so I can make really gross comments about you without feeling like a total pedo.
I do feel like I can say, without feeling too pervy, that this girl has killer leg muscles. Like, are they making her do leg presses at the age of 14? How do even get muscle definition like that at such a young age? Craziness.
Here’s Dakota at the premiere of The Secret Life of Bees, which I will not see because I loved the book too much and no matter what they do with the movie it will be a let-down and I will leave feeling angry.

Can we please notice the wig that Jada is wearing? It took me a second to figure it out, I was thinking how pretty she is but the hair just threw me off ~ I bet it’s expensive but Jada honey, a wig is always just a wig!

I loved the book too, but not so much that I wouldn’t see the movie. With the actors in it, it looks like it has the potential to be good.

The book was AMAZING!! I’m on the fence about seeing the movie.
My daughter is 6 & her calf muscles have great definition. She started walking at 8 months & by a year you could see the definition. Must be genetics because my m.i.l. has great legs too.

Oh it’s obvious she is going to be quite the starlet when she gets older. I remember looking at Kirsten Dunst back when she was young and knowing she was going to be a looker as well.

I hope she keeps the natural look going, it works well for her and it’s nice to see someone not trying too hard (not trying at all, she’s proof it works). But if she does, she shouldn’t wear black, it washes out her face a little.

awesome, another fan of the book! but god, am i ridiculously jealous of Dakota! shes my age yet has been in a countless amount of amazing movies, shes rich as hell and has a perfect, skinny body!!!

beet, when people have less body fat their muscle tone just shows better. because there is no layer of fat there. it doesn’t mean they work out. you must’ve been a pudgy kid. not that theres anything wrong with that. . .

I love it that a young girl actually LOOKS like a young girl.
And I love the book too, but I will go and see the movie. The book is so extraordinary that I cannot even imagine how all those experiences would translate to the big screen, so I will go simply out of curiosity. You never know, I might be pleasantly surprised! After all, BH Chihuauhau was not the complete rout that I expected.

I agree with everyone who commented on the fact that she actually looks her age, how can you complian about that? Whats scary are the ones who look too old to be young teen I.E. Taylor Momsen.

I love how she’s such a professional and always has been. She’s like the only child actress right now who isn’t shitty and doing a bunch of crap disney movies. She chooses amazing breakthrough roles, this girl is smart.

I totally loved that book.
But… I won’t go see it in the cinemas because I’ll probably get all angsty and leave in the middle of it because it’s so seriously SHIT.
