Actually, it kind of reminds me of the lyrics that used to go along to the Pokemon soundtrack, like best friends forever and all that.

Only this was a boy and his Pikachu, on a show aimed at an audience no older than 13 years.

Not a fully grown woman seeking a new “best friend forever”.

*yes, I was a massive Pokemon fan, but that is besides the point haha*
