Miley Cyrus to Play a Younger Carrie Bradshaw???

News just broke earlier this month that Candace Bushnell would be penning a series of books about a younger Carrie Bradshaw — her high-school years and whatnot — and already we’re hearing rumors that Miley Cyrus wants the main role.
“I think she’s adorable,” says Candace, when asked about the possibility. “The books aren’t going to come out until 2010, so it’s just too soon to predict anything—but again, I think she’s adorable.â€
Hmmm.
Who do you guys think should play a teenage Carrie Bradshaw?

I’ve never seen an episode of Sex and the City, but if they’re looking/or aiming for someone in her younger high school years, isn’t Miley Cyrus a tad bit old for that role? I mean, she’s already looks like she’s pushing 25.

I hate her gummy smile, it’s not sexy. She’s not sexy, she’s slutty looking and acting so maybe that’s what they are looking for, a lil ho. I really think she’s so over rated and doubt she’s got a substantial career ahead of her. I think it’s entirely possible she’s going to end up a preggo teen, the new Disney model of childhood.

Did I miss something? Bushnell is writing a book series, right? Books, like for reading? Why the hell does anyone need to play a role for a book? I re-read the entry and I still see nothing more than book. Not sure where Miley comes into play here. Just sayin’.
