I’m a Designer, Yo!
September 28th, 2008 by Evil BeetBudding fashion icon Rachel Bilson launches her new collection, Edie Rose for DKNY, at Macy’s in Florida. The line was named for her grandmother and a close family friend.
You can buy pieces from this line here.
Although this isn’t really stuff I’d wear — it’s not horrendous, it’s just not my personal style — I was pleasantly surprised to find that damn near everything in the line is priced under $100, including jeans and jackets. Plus a ton of it already looks to be sold out on the DKNY website.
Very impressive, Ms. Bilson.

It’s unoriginal.

Rachel looks fat compared to those models. Heh. Makes me feel good, strangely.

Is it just me, or her legs look ridiculously short?!
September 28th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
yes the clothes are cute but not original in any way. I could totally pull that shit together with a run to TJ Maxx. Still love RB though!

boring boring boring
she lost her creativiting when adam brody broke up with her
stupid girl
September 28th, 2008 at 8:32 pm
Her legs look ridiculously short because
a)she is short
and
b)she’s surrounded by 5′9+ models

She’s so darling, I just want to munch on her.
Her feet are pretty large considering how tiny she is overall.
September 28th, 2008 at 9:10 pm
And also? The hat + the hair is not doing her round face any favors.
September 28th, 2008 at 9:21 pm
the stuff’s nice, i like the style, everythings a pretty dependable look, but its not exciting and you can get it all for way cheaper… it looks like she just went to europe, saw some trendy girls, and decided to put their basics together into a clothes line.
and that hat, tie, and jeans are not doing anything for her…

The yellow dress is a rip off from another designer.

My god. If those models can make her look notsoskinny, I have nightmares thinking about what would happen if I stood next to them. Yeesh. In previous months, I was thinking she had almost crossed over into scary skinny.. but it looks like in Hollywood, a girl of her height doesnt have a choice. With that said, when she’s not standing next to such beastly girls, she’s super adorable I think.

Every features of Rachel are just soo mundane, thats why when standing close to some tall, hot and real pretty/gorgeous gals, she would look like as their “aide / helper”.

It’s good to hear of a ‘celeb’ fashion range that is within relatively affordable limits.
September 29th, 2008 at 8:06 am
What part of off the rack with her label sewn in doesn’t compute in her design plans.
September 29th, 2008 at 8:18 am
I meant compared to her body and her relatively big head. I’ve always liked her, I guess I’d always seen her in heels. No, she does not have a nice body. Legs are relatively short and this is NOT because of the models surrounding her.
September 29th, 2008 at 9:30 am
can someone explain to me how celebrities are all “designers” now? do people really think rachel bilson drew all these designs, picked out the materials, draped it, worked it, etc? and most celeb fashion lines are boring and cheap looking. looks like this one will be no different.

That hat is absolutely hideous. I want to walk up to her, pull it off her head, and give her a stern talking to. Makes her look like her head is surrounded by a flap hat.
I love you RB, (obviously not in a romantic way) but seriously, this is not okay!
