I doubt Michael Lohan would be saying those things if she was with a boy.I don’t think his issue with Sam really is “codepency”..I mean his comments reak of barely disguised homophobia. It’s kind of disgusting really that he continues to get a platform for his hatefullness, and I feel quite sad for Lindsay really as she has had to endure this psycho for most of her life and that that’s very likely is the cause to some of her problems.

Give her break beet! People are always on her for something, now it’s that she spending too much time with her girl.. ..she deserves to be happy without people picking her apart. And even if true the codependent Lindsay is much improved on the trainwreck version. And seriously who uses Michael Lohan to back up their theory. I know you guys need to find an angle, but really that was kind of disappointing.

I love seeing Lindsay and Sam so happy together. Most new couples who are ‘in love’ are inseparable. It’s called the honeymoon phase. I hope Lindsay and Sam have a long honeymoon. Reality will intrude soon enough. As for Beet’s analysis, I suppose it is valid enough, but I get so sick of Dr. Phil pop psychology. Do you guys have any idea what it means for a girl with the kind of childhood Lindsay endured to trust that someone genuinely loves her?

Addiction or cute attachment to Sam – name it what you like, we don’t have to diagnose in order to ascertain that Lindsay has stabilized as a result of this constant companionship.

But her pre-Sam history reflects serious behavioral problems, bad judgment calls, and substance abuse, likely in part as result of the chaos and instability she suffered in her childhood home. (Anybody watch ‘Confessions of a Broken Heart’ lately?) It is a statistical non-happening that someone with previous, serious, long-standing substance abuse issues just starts chilling out with a couple of glasses of champagne at night, as Lindsay has admitted doing.

Problem not solved.

Also, while we’re at it and Lindsay is blogging happy birthday messages to ‘Mummy’ and saying how much Ali makes her smile – did Lindsay COMPLETELY MISS Ali calling the rumors of her and Sam dating ‘disgusting’ and her mother calling them ‘ridiculous’ all over national television when they were making the promo rounds for Living Lohan?!?! Beet, how have you not elucidated this story??

well, whatever.. her addiction to Samantha won’t cause fatal car accidents like her last addiction.. now the Paprazzi following them around obsessively might, but hey people can’t live and breathe without seeing pics of these two vajayjay lovers swooning all over each other, so for all the people the paps run off the road, theyre helping so many others.

I don’t know about this “diagnosis.” Lindsay is doing great. People in love spend time together. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt do it, they’re not labeled codependent.

ohmygod i love daily lohan..

but fuck this.. who the fuck are we to say that anything her abusive dad said was right… he clearly needs meds ( ..and a muzzle.) if she needs relationship advice she should get it from a much more loving (and sane) place.

People who have addictions will always struggle. .. and yes most addictive behaviors/attitudes transfer to something else..

but i’d rather she be “addicted” to sam… as you guys are saying.

… shes obviously getting healthier and trying to deal with her family issues. (which will be a life long struggle.) How do we know how she will react when they have relationship issues? ..and i gotta say.. a lot of couples that seem “joined-at-the-hip” in their early years.. stay together. They become a family unit.

fucking ease up on her already.. and let the girls be happy for a while.
