Someone should sew a PerezHilton fashion label on the front and put it in a Spanish Cock-fighting ring.

my sister and i used to dress up our chickens too!!! we had a special outfit we would dress them in on their ’special day’ and watch them walk around and laugh our little asses off, especially when granny grabbed them and twisted their heads off and they kept running around the yard with no heads and flapping all over the place for what seemed like minutes as we danced around them with glee, screaming, “what’s the matter, got a headache”? . gosh, you bring back such good memories sometimes, beet. thanks.

It looks as though the chickens wing feathers have been plucked or stripped… kinda cruel..

    re; blake

dude, are you a fucking imbecile or what? somebody dresses a fucking chicken in a fucking sweater and you think it’s peachy keen as long as they’re wings aren’t clipped. like what, they’re gonna lose points on the chicken fashion runway or something? i only hope that the only car you’re allowed to drive is a bumper car and even then i don’t want to be at the same carnival as you. now, finish your malt o meal and get your ass back to the attic where you belong.

Dude, she was rescued from people who were treating her like crap and had plucked all her feathers. She’d freeze to death without the sweater. It’s not to be cutesy — it’s saving her life. You guys need to watch these videos pre-rant.

Chickens used for eggs (free range or otherwise–google “free range myth” if you’re confused) very often look like this. I myself have been involved in rescue cases here in Canada and have seen many, many featherless chickens. See the way she’s walking, with weird, halting steps that lift her feet high into the air? That’s because she’s never really walked before. She’s just had a tilted wire grate to sit on.

    Aww! It suits it!
    Poor bald chicken :(

  9. jo says:

i have a feeling that since people are starting to dress chicken, next they’ll be protecting them from being food. does that mean we won’t be able to eat chicken anymore?

    re; jo

yes, jo, that’s what that means. now come back inside and let’s make sure your wrist restraints don’t come loose again, sweetheart. that’s a good girl.
