Really, they should not have made this show. The only characters that people seem to care about are from the original show.
I was excited to see Brenda and Kelly on screen together and that’s why I watched the first episode. I was curious about whether Kelly had been banging Dylan as few as 5 years ago so I found out tonight (without actually WATCHING the show). Unless they keep giving all the old die-hards new tidbits to salivate over as far as the original cast goes, this show is going to fizzle out because it seems like no one gives a shit about anything else.
i have yet to see the show, but I would only wtch it to see the original cast members.
I have only watched the first episode of the show, but it seemed like a total knock-off of Gossip Girl meets The OC, both of which are fine, but it was like it was trying to hard.
As for Dylan, that’s totally obvious, but I have to wonder if Dylan’s character would really leave a child. Remember how he was with his sister Erica??

I missed it last night but do plan on watching it tonight. I actually like it, but you all are right. I would rather it be an adult version of the old show. I would totally dig that.
Dylan eh? Hope there is a cameo in his future.
I hope they have an episode where Kelly knocks the shit out of Brenda just for old time’s sake

It’s no surprise. The kid definitely looks like Dylan’s kid. And I totally had a dream after watching it that Dylan did indeed make a cameo. It was awesome.
how…predictable. i was actually hoping it was steve for some reason. just like an out of the blue kind of thing, to set up at least one interesting story line on this otherwise crappy show.
I quit watching 90210 even before Shannon left the show. Dylan was Brenda’s guy back then. I can’t picture him with Kelly.
