You DIDN’T Watch!!!!

September 10th, 2008 by Evil Beet

90210 didn’t have such a good second inning.

The second episode of the series drew just 3.3 million viewers — down a gigantic 30 percent from its 4.7 million debut. That’s a HUGE drop.

Meanwhile, Gossip Girl was down 7% in viewers from its premiere last Monday, with 3.158 million viewers.

So 90210’s still seeing a few more viewers that GG — but can they hold onto them?

Did you watch the second episode??? Will you tune in for the third???

I didn’t see the premiere, but I watched this one out of curiosity. It was really painful. Wooden acting, trite storylines, stupid/flat dialogue, etc. I won’t watch another one.

    Nope. On both counts.

Sorry I could not stay to watch but I was busy laughing all the way to the bank. Maybe I’ll catch the next episode.

No one is interested in the non-Brenda Welsh series.

oh and my dad was asleep in his lazyboy, woke up during the part where the cute teacher showed up at kelly’s, saw the wine glasses, then brenda comes out and my dad said “lesbians!!!” it was hilarious.

In Chicago the first episode played five hours late and the second episode played four hours late. It was postponed for baseball, then the news.

So, I don’t know anyone in Chicago who actually saw it the day it aired.

Lol at Joan’s dad! Yea I can’t bring myself to watch this. It just feels so wrong. It’s akin to someone remaking “Saved by the Bell.” It just wouldn’t work.

I want to hate the show and I kinda do. But I also kinda hated the original and watched it without fail EVERY WEEK. I justified it by saying I was already addicted to it when it was good “Brenda Years” and that’s why I kept watching long after that was over. And I still catch repeats from time to time. Now I’m watching to see who from the original is back and how they’ve aged. The new characters suck…except for Dixon (and that’s only because he was on The Wire aka best show on TV) but even his acting is mostly painful. If not for the old characters being interwoven in the storylines I don’t think I could watch.
