WHY?!?!?!? I was a music major, dammit. And now she's pumping out an album and she's all "uh, yeah, whatever"?!?! If I got the chance to do an album I'd be over the moon and focus solely on it. She's doing a tv show, which takes up a lot of time. How much of her own material do you think will show up? 2%? That's a stretch though. Ugh. She's an ok actress on Gossip Girl. I feel as though she'll make awkward dance hits on her album that will pain. Her version of 'having always done music' probably includes some hacking away at the piano, and the occasional pluck of a guitar string, complete with uninteresting lyrics about a broken heart. Yes, I'm bitter. I am sick to death of this movement where actresses are handed record deals and make shit out of them. There is no quality in music left. *WEEPS*
