I’ve never seen or heard anything to make me think Lindsay is unable to write coherently. She can make dumb choices and still be able to put a sentence together. Geez, proper spelling goes a long way.

@slammed: At least you realize there’s something wrong in what you’re saying. The fifties weren’t some great idyllic time when families were perfect. The rampant abuse and alcoholism were just much better hidden. People who think the world is going to hell simply weren’t around in the “good old days”. If a girl got pregnant it was quietly taken care of, not made into a political statement. I’m not saying you don’t have a point with today’s oversexualized media, but saying we should go back to the fifties is not the answer. And if you think women are going to go back to the kitchen and have babies all day you’re a moron. I like my career, thanks.

ha ha ha! I was sort of undecided until NOW!

But if Lindsay Lohan sees something or someone as ‘bad’ then it MUST be “good”!

If she thinks McCain/Palin are bad for the country, then they MUST be good for the country!

The most astounding thing about her post – I never knew she was capable of writing or thinking past the 3rd grade level.

It’s very obvious that Lindsay didn’t write that herself. The girl can barely form a complete sentence. Did she even graduate from high school? I highly doubt it. And, how can she claim to know anything about politics when all she does is shop, eat at restaurants, and parade around L.A. with her girlfriend?

Funny, in the 1950’s hardly anyone had sex before marriage even though there was no birth control or sex education. Now it seems like everyone over the age of 14 has had every kind of sex there is so maybe there is just too much info out there for kids to properly process. Too much trash on the tv, in the movies, people like Lindsay setting a bad example and getting rewarded for it and too many parents who have just throw their hands up and caved in. Maybe the answer is for women to quit their jobs and stay home like they did in the 50’s so they can focus of the kids. Palin should have done that.

I think teens have always been active. In the older days, they got married at 15 and 16, and had babies. Who knows which was first, but they were married younger then. Then in the sexual revolution days, teens were having sex, and just using more birth control. But still yet, many many were having babies at 17 and 18.
So it is really the same old story, only population is much larger, makes the problem seem bigger.
But now, it is blown up, because they should know better by now, what makes a baby and how to prevent it.

I think that Lindsay’s response is more coherent and humane than about 99% of the people I’m hearing speak. Good for her.
