Jon Voight Strikes Back!

Remember just a couple days ago when Roseanne Barr took to her blog to call Jon Voight a “frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu,” among other things?
Well, Jon Voight is not going to sit back and take it.
He released a rebuttal today (shown above), accusing Roseanne of being “sick of mind” and suggesting that she is a “psychopathic liar.”
I can’t decide how I feel about this.
Was Voight’s response appropriate or should he not have responded to Roseanne’s comments at all?

What kind of syntax is that? He sounds like fucking Yoda.
He has every right to respond.
However, when responding to a wacko like Roseanne, John Voight just stooped to her level.
And is he using the royal “we?”
they are both a little nutty and desperately want attention. of course he responded and we should be hearing back from roseanne shortly. they can’t help themselves.
Don’t both of these folks have a history of commenting on things that are none of their business…and why would Roseanne Barr single out Jon Voight when she lives in a glass house too. Perhaps they have a new reality show together and they need some publicity…sure won’t be tunin’ in for that botched abortion.
I’m on board with Chuck. Jon Voight had every right to respond to Roseanne Bar-Arnold-Thompson.
Roesanne blighted his family in a very public way. A public response was warranted.
We in this country have a right or to support or not support whomever we want in our elections. Roseanne tried to ‘blackmail’ a very popular figure, not in my book by the way, in to an endorsement.
So… the first part of the letter disturbs me. So, all kids that are abused by their parents are “vile” and “evil”. Alright…..
One day Roseanne will fall through her big mouth and break her neck. Let her put her money where her mouyh is.

I think Roseanne has every right to rant just as much as anyone else. She brought up some very important points about Brangelina which noone else has the balls to say. They are very overrated, and greedy. Yet the media still continues to paint them as SAINTS. Are you kidding me? there was a documentary about celebrity donations a while ago which detailed exactly how much money was really going to the poor. Its disgusting how GREEDY they are. They tell you they donate 13 mil when its really 3 million. They sure are saints!!! *sarcasm*
Also, I think its absolutely pathetic of John Voight to respond back like that. Roseanne had a valid argument. This only proves that John himself is an immature lunatic and so is “Brangelina”. They need to be exposed, as well as other celebrities who claim they are “do-gooders”.
Megs, he went on to say that her parents & sister denied the claims of child abuse. The impression I got was that he’s calling her out on being a liar.
But maybe I’m just misunderstanding it all.

I do not share his political affiliation, but instead of the asinine childish name calling Rosanne used, he instead dealt with real issues that can be researched and corroborated. He is a class act in this instance and I am surprised people are not picking that up. He also has a right to his opinions.
Rosanne was getting herself in the news. If there ever was a fame whore she invented the phenomenon. And just in case anyone has forgotten, 3 million dollars is a lot of money to a 3rd world country. Brad and Angela also make us aware of issues that are lost in the material first world. That right there is invaluable and it is not their job to make everything right in the world because they are successful.
Brad and Angela may not be Saints, as none of us here are either, but they sure as hell have done more for any cause than any of us in here have– even fat-mouth Rosanne. It is easy to rant, let Ms Barr put some of her money where her big mouth is. What an abomination this woman is!

Pot kettle black is always worthy of a try to throw the nonsense back so it doesn’t stick on you.. but She-rail Roseanne is dense, oozing with impenetrable hate jargon within an impenetrable fortess deadened by her impenetrable black heart.. also according to numerous husbands and men she has abused for many reasons they would rather forget.
I doubt he would have responded except that roseann went after his child. Roseann has always been famous for having a big crude mouth-nothing’s changed
If I may paraphrase Triumph the Insult Dog, both of them should be listed in the “Who’s Who of Who Cares.” On one hand, Voight should not be giving her any more attention than she’s already getting from the press — it just feeds the whole controversy. I really think she’s doing this because nobody’s been paying much attention to her lately, and it’s an opportunity to get her name back in the media. On the other hand, I think he shouldn’t just stand by and take insults from her without defending himself or his daughter, either.
What??? This is freaking awesome!!! Jon and Roseanne are both fantastic for this shit! I love it and I can’t wait to hear more. Seriously… they are both right. Bring it on bitches!

2. when you are not an expert why can’t you just run your mouth off w/o knowing facts and w/o being politically correct? It’s fun as hell
3. The only importance in what a person says is the importance the people who hear it put on it. All y’all who are complaining about what either Jon or Roseanne say…. you’re the ones making it important.
I don’t give a crap what either one of them has to say.
