I dunno. The makeup thing makes him seem creepily ageless and timeless. He could probably do the Marie Laveau thing and, when Manson is on his deathbed, pass his facepaint on to a younger, similar-looking man. And we’d never know he’d died! It would be CRAZY!

Isn’t he bald? I think I may have watched a clip on You Tube of somebody on a ship stealing his hat and it had a wig attached… he was as bald as a baby’s bum and ran off to hide.
@ Down Unda: I saw that too but then I heard he had been working on a movie/video in which he had to completely shave his head, so I’m not entirely sure he’s bald. He’s probably pretty old by now though so he may be balding.
The really sad thing is that the only thing worse than MM with make up is MM without makeup. Brian Warner is definitely not one of the beautiful people.

He’s just a rip-off artist. Alice Cooper did the whole shtick first. I gotta give MM credit for the videos however. They are classics (even though you can probably credit the director rather than him).
I have to say, I do wish people would leave him alone. All because we dress differently doesnt mean u can or have to put us down for it. I put up with a lot of shit where i come from and the funny thing is that some people can say what they want when they want to put people like us (me and manson) down. But if we say anything back against u oohh shit that is a whole different story and not right for us to say anything at all. I do understand and realize that people do have their right and opinions to say what they feel and think but damn, can’t we leave him alone for 5 seconds?
I don’t understand you people; obviously you are that type of judgmental asshole who needs to learn to shut your trap. If you took even one look/listen at Marilyn Manson’s (Brian Warner) lyrics you’d understand that he’s talking about being different, standing out and not being one of those idiots who think that if something is different than they’re perfect little world they suddenly have to hate it. It doesn’t matter how old he is and he is still wearing make-up, it just goes to show that he isn’t a fake and that his lyrics are actually true. And all of you people that are criticizing him about how he looks without make-up, yeah you probably look like a piece of shit too without your foundation and eyeliner.

You guys need to leave Manson alone. Really. So what if he’s old? At least he’s doing something with his life. And something that many people enjoy. In fact, my life was pretty bleak before I discovered his music. I was heading down a path of self-destruction and suicidal thoughts, but once I found him, I realized it’s ok to be different, and the only person’s thoughts that matters is your own. You don’t have to conform. And that’s Manson’s message. And about the make-up thing. He’s said in many interviews that “Marilyn Manson” is sort of like an alter-ego he created. It’s a way to take out his shyness. And maybe it’s also part because people made fun of him earlier in life, so now he tries to hide himself. Just leave him alone! Jeebuz. He has really good intentions, he’s trying to teach people it’s ok to think different, and dress different. It’s ok to be individual. So stop twisting his words and making him sound like an asshole! He’s a great person! <3
