the race was awesome but i could do without looking too much more at his face- well, beyond the times when he will win over and over again. between obama and phelps it seems to be the year of big ears.
i said it before, but phelps’ appeal is definitely from the neck down, the fun v shape on male swimmers bodies made by the pubic bones and abs… and what he can do in the water of course.

lezak was definitely the hero. @elizabeth99 – bummer! but it is still an AMAZING race and knowing who wins before hand won’t take too much away from it. i’ve watched it 4 times now and still can’t believe the USA team pulled it out. seriously, i’m not exaggerating when i use the word AMAZING!

it’s always nice to put a loudmouth frenchman in his place! the US team was very classy and let their swimming do the talking in response to the french teams comments.

i hope the media gives lezak the credit he deserves. phelps should give him a cut of some of his endorsements!

fucking wonderful…. now I’m gonna have to stay away from evilbeetgossip for two weeks if I don’t want olympic spoilers. Great… thanks. I mean I figured I’d stay away from news sites (even away from hotmail) but this was the last place I thought would spoil this race for me. Awesome. Glad I recorded five hours of olympics just so the first post on a gossip website could ruin the main event. At least some site give the results after the jump….. I love evil beet but that just really sucks.
