RIP Bernie Mac

Very, very sad news.
Bernie Mac has died of pneumonia at the age of 50.
“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.
No other details were available.

Any ailment of the lungs is a horrible way to go.
Bernie Mac was fucking hysterical in Bad Santa and I really enjoyed him in the baseball movie Mr. 3000.
What a damn shame.
I’m not a religious person but if there is something out there after we die then it just got a helluva lot funnier. I’ll miss him.

:( RIP. He will be sorely missed. He was a very funny man.
According to what I have read he was much sicker than he let on. He had sarcoidosis for awhile – a serious lung disease – and was on medicine to supress his immune system, which is why the pneumonia got him. He was in ICU the whole time he was in the hospital and on the ventilator part of the time but asked to be taken off. He was actually in the hospital one week longer than the media knew about. It is sad to think of someone who made us laugh (or anyone really) suffer like that or to see a life that touched so many cut so short. I know I sure will miss seeing him and his loss saddened me. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

This is SO sad! I loved Bernie Mac. He was so funny and just made the world brighter with his humor.
All the good people are dying and leaving us with Ashley Tisdale and Miley effing Cyrus.
I am really sorry to hear about this. Bernie had a style that was quite different from other comedians and a delivery that was all his own. Aamazing talent and an inspiration to all… you will be missed buddy.
I simply loved the man, especiaaly in the Bernie Mac Show.
