Only the Best for Taylor Momsen

Underage love of my life Taylor Momsen — Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, to some of you — recently signed with IMG and did a series of test shots. Says a source from the shoot:
“Taylor was so nice and so cool. She took the subway from her apartment in Chelsea to the set, with her mom. They said they didn’t want to do the usual obvious stuff that a teen TV star would do; they were looking for really high-end things.”
So Taylor’s looking to do real modeling, rather than smile pretty for Neutrogena and Sketchers, etc, like other teen queens tend to do.

And im glad she’;s not doing the usual bubble-gum pop stuff like ‘Candies’! Its too fake! These are grungy n Now n i think they’re very ‘fashion’ shots!

how in the crap did SHE get the Jenny Humphrey part? in the books Jenny is short with CURLY, DARK hair and “ridiculously huge boobs” wtf were those producers thinking?!

i love these shots and i think she does a great job as jenny on gossip girl but i agree with allison, taylor is pretty much the complete opposite of what jenny is supposed to look like, but obviously thats not her fault.

Beet…please don’t tell me you’ve put these up on your bedroom wall or anything…ok? They are pretty gorgeous, granted…but remember Mary K.! King County judges don’t take kindly to older ladies having their way with the young’uns…

By the way, I really do love the shots. She’s very photogenic and it looks very natural. If she doesn’t want to smile, so be it! Makes her seem deeper, anyway. Really great stuff.

Well, Taylor looks similar to Blake (as in tall, slim, and blond).. and Serena is the so called “IT” girl. It’s a more realistic approach to how Jenny could become an “IT” girl, I suppose, in the show. She matches the generic description of a tall, slim beauty which easily equates to and “IT” girl.
