Christina Applegate Is Battling Breast Cancer

This is so sad!
But it’s also very good, because apparently Christina caught it in time that she’s expected to make a full recovery.
Said her rep: “Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time.”
You hear that, ladies?
Get your titties checked EARLY and OFTEN!!! Christina’s only 36. It IS better to know!!! There are free breast exams and mammograms available at clinics in nearly every area. Get checked!!!

if i recall in the dark recesses of my mind, i think her mom also had breast cancer and was fighting it while christina was doing married…with children. i imagine watching your mom go through that would have you checking yourself daily. i hope she is 100% soon.

I love her and hope everything will be fine since she caught it so early. My daughter-in-laws sister had breast cancer at 35 and it’s been over five years now with all her checkups being fine! On the other side a very dear friend died at 42 from breast cancer that spread. I don’t mean to be a downer but PLEASE ladies get your mammograms every year! You are never too young or too old for this dreaded disease.

yikes – that is young. although i had a friend who had a mastectomy at 29, which was really weird. the moral here is no matter how young you may be, check the girls monthly! and good luck christina!
