We Don’t Hate Each Other!

July 31st, 2008 by Evil Beet

Ryan Gosling made his DJ debut at Hollywood’s Green Door on Tuesday night — playing mostly songs from the ’40s and ’50s in homage to the club’s weekly live jazz night — and guess who showed up?

His ex-girlfriend, Rachel McAdams!

Could this couple be reuniting?

Nothing would make me happier. I bawled my eyes out at The Notebook. Not, like, poignant little tear droplets. Like, blubbering and sobbing like the huge baby that I am. Seriously. Like, Beaches kind of tears. Ryan and Rachel are supposed to grow old together!

I remember watching “The Notebook” with my husband. I fell asleep & woke up at the end of the movie hearing my 6′3″ Harley riding husband sobbing uncontrollably.

  2. anon says:

I didn’t see the movie but the book did the same thing to me. I have never had a book wreck me like that.

  3. cass says:

Ya, the book made me sob, then I saw the movie and sobbed some more… Pretty much, The Notebook caused a lot of tear loss…

I doubt they are getting back together… But I wish… They are so darned cute together!

  4. Kelsey says:

I hope they get back together.

But what did she do to her hair?

  5. Anonymous says:

They amaze me – I wish they would rekindle. Remember the MTV Movie Awards Best Kiss scene? I have that shit on my iPod because I love it that much. ANd now I just realize how weird that seems…

  6. Ashley says:

I loved them together-she’d be a HUGE improvement over Kirsten Dunst (if they were ever really involved) Buuuut the best for him would be ME! :)

And Rachel was always sooo pretty-what happened?!?! She’s not lookin too sweet.

  7. E-dub says:

I loathe crying and therefore hate chick flix. I rented the Notebook because I looooove James Garner. I had no idea it was some sob fest. Cried. my. eyes. out. and boy was I PISSED! ; )

  8. Ish. says:

Ohh it actually hurts how pretty they are together.

& I bawled like a baby at The Notebook. Repeatedly.

he just keeps getting better. her- not so much. . .

  10. Laura says:

I watched the Notebook by myself at, like, three in the morning. I’m so glad I was alone. I kept, like, trying to talk in between sobs. “S-s-s-o , waaaah, s-s-s, waaah, s-s-aaaad!” Totally pathetic.

  11. Jamie says:

Rachel looks like shit here. I hope that hair is for a movie, and that she’s not trying to copy Katie Holmes!

  12. Love4All says:

I like that she looks normal and he is into that. He is also into older women… Ryan call me… hey… CALL ME…

  13. Skye says:

Does her head look a tad on the smallish side? Does to me.

  14. mobby says:

Aww….I love these two together. I want them to live happily ever after.

  15. coach says:

dj? carrying his macbook? that’s not a dj. real dj’s use vinyl and turntables and there is an art to it beyond clicking something with your mouse. plus, does that mean he was dj’ing with mp3’s? wtf?
