Pretty in … Orange?

July 28th, 2008 by Evil Beet

Maggie Gyllenhaal has been all about taking fashion risks as she travels the globe promoting The Dark Knight, and she’s had a few hits and a few misses. However, I must say I love this look on her at the Tokyo premiere. It’s very unique, sexy, classy, fashion-forward, risky, etc. It’s everything fashion should be, and I think Maggie looks fantastic!

although it definitely looks like crepe paper from a halloween party….i’d totally wear it!!!

I really like it. Only suggestions I can make are that the underwear, the slip, or whatever, should have been completely flesh-toned, or completely orange. Preferably, orange underneath. Different and daring and it did look good!

maybe she read your “is she preggers” post regarding the first black dress she wore so decided she’d wear something semi-see through to prove her tummy is flat? :-)

It’s not a disaster, though I wish the undergarments were a little more worked out to be hidden. Very pretty, plus she’s a great actress, so who gives a…

People don’t get her really well, but she’s got a great style, and she’s really pretty – much better than Katie in Batman. I have no idea why so many people comment on her but she looks great, and can ACT! Woot! It made the movie so much better, and now the Tom Cruise is running his wiifes’ career, she’s going to do a few straight to DVD clunkers and retired – in a few years after that rehab, then death.

    Kudos Maggie!

She isn’t a classic beauty but she far from homely. I like Maggie and have a hard time understanding why so many feel the need to bash her. She’s a good actress. I loved her in Secretary.

If it were lower cut, I think it would be quite lovely on her.
