I think it’s their intention to make it weir and funny. Natalie must really love him to participate in his video without worrying about her actress image and all that. So, she went from Amidala to “Carmensita”? Whatever makes her happy!

I love it! I think it’s kind of like an old school Indian movie and Devendra Banhart is totally hot. Down Unda, since when is licking pubes some kind of rarity?! :)

I liked it. It’s trippy and weird, and Natalie Portman is the perfect person to pull it off. Some of the video reminded me of a really bad mushroom trip though.
Who needs LSD?? That was a trip in itself! It was hilarious and bet they had the best time making this video. I have always liked Natalie Portman and like her even more after seeing this. And that guy did remind me of Ron Jeremy, too! Hilarious!
I loved that! It was really funny – I can see why Natalie likes him, he seems like he’s a lot of fun. She comes off as very down to earth and I like her for it.

I appreciate funky, wild, and weird, believe me. Maybe I’m showing my age but that was horrible. I have always admired Nat Portman and I hope she did this for love. However, (I don’t care how much you love someone) there are just some things you say NO to. Hopefully the film industry will excuse her for taking part in this video while they laugh their asses off.

well natalie is most good, most good indeed. she could never suck or be ugly, but that was strange, and im pretty sure i saw his pubes in the begginning. eww he is so grosse. what is it with pretty girls and ugly men? his fingernails are longer than hers! sick

#19 is on the right track. the movie series ramayan is a huge part of the indian culture and marks the beginngings of the indian movie industry. stories are based off of hindu scripture and mythology. the video was definitely paying homage to the original cinematography…its brilliant. nice work devendra and natalie!
