Okay, sorry I’ve been gone all day. I slept through my alarm and then I had to run to my Russian lesson. I’m learning Russian so that I can speak it to the Russian baby I’m adopting next year. But I’m back now, and I’m glad I am, because someone sent me a link to this interview with Verne Troyer sex-tape partner Ranae Shrider.
She’s really a pretty boring interviewee, but the interview gets kind of interesting toward the end.

OMG!!!! I actually listened to that whole awful thing! I disagree I don’t think it got interesting ever! I only sat there hoping they would talk about that stupid tape & they never really did because her manager didn’t want her too. It was all about how they met, how they are broken up now & that they don’t get along anymore. Blah, blah, blah!
How could she go to bed with a midget? Sick. Ugh.

No I swear if my life still looks basically the same in a year I’m going to start the process of adopting a baby from a Russian orphanage. I meet all the criteria and I’ll be 27 by then, so it’s not like I’ll be unreasonably young. And I want the baby to stay in touch with his/her Russian heritage so I think it’s important I learn the language. Plus the kids are usually 2 years old or so when you take them home, so he/she will already know some Russian and I want to make the transition as easy as possible. But who knows, a lot can change in a year, but I’m trying to get everything all prepared so if I want to go through with it I’ll be ready.

The most annoying part of that was hearing her say numerous times thats shes a nice person, and that does charity work, and that she does something at some 7/11 and blah blah blahhhhh.

I was a Russian major, and if I’m ever in Seattle, I will totally look you up and we will coo in Russian over your Russian baby.
Beware, though- my neighbors got burned really badly by several Russian orphanages, so be prepared for a long, hard wait and possibly a fight!
I’m sorry, but am I the only one who thinks it is not ok to ridicule Verne just because he is little? Why should he not have the right to try to ban a tape that was stolen from him? I find it in bad taste that everyone paints this as a freak show just because he has had a relationship with a woman of normal height, that is just so prejudiced. Verne is an adult man, Mini-Me is a character.
