Mandela was convicted for terrorism and spent his time in jail. He is celebrate for bringing freedom to South Africa but in truth, he nor his ANC could do little about it. It was the whites govermnet that elected to part with it especially since the cold war was over. He spent 27 years in jail not meditating on freedom but because he had no choice in it. Simply put, neither he nor his party not any of his party members have been able to govern South Africa as the white minority governments before him did. The proof is in the pudding, the ecconomy is in shambles, public services is non existant and crime is rampant…..OH YEAH WELL DONE MANDELA WE ALL WAITED FOR THIS VERSION OF FREEDOM, Allan Paton ws right, “Cry the Beloved Country” and how it is crying now.

What Jay said. Mandela was a cunt, who was imprisoned for bombing civilains (in a stand against apartheid, good cause, bad course of action). As SA president, Mandela spent billions on arms while millions of his (black) people starved to death.

Hey, did any of the relatives of his (mostly black) bombing victims turn up, or was it just Hollywood stars? How about any of the millions of black people in SA today for whom the ANC has done fuck all since taking over?

Anyone can sit on their ass in prison for thirty years, it don’t make them a fucking hero. It was Mandela who turned the ANC into a terrorist group which was too busy killing other black people to effectively take on the whites. Sanctions killed Apartheid, not burning tyres filled with petrol or bombs in cafes.

Fuck Mandela; Tutu, Biko, Tambo et al were the heroes. Mandela was a messianic cunt and deserved to be in jail.

[Incidentally, about ten years ago a British journalist called Brian Walden had a series in which each episode studied the validity of certain heroes. One episode dared looked at Mandela, who he really was and what he really did/achieved. It was the last time Walden was seen on TV......]
