With the success of Camp Rock, Demi Lovato is a certified Disney starlet.
And of course her semi-estranged father is taking advantage of it!
He gave an interview to Star Magazine, where he blabs about his relationship with his daughter, no doubt in exchange for a nice sum of money.
“She’ll always be ‘my partner’ — that’s what we’ve always called each other,” Patrick Lovato tells Star in an exclusive interview. “We have a special relationship that’ll never change, no matter how big she becomes.”
Patrick shares details about meeting Demi’s mom, Dianna Hart, an ex-Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and country music singer, and how they married soon after and started a family in Texas. But their marriage ended in 1994, and after Patrick later moved to New Mexico and suffered some health problems, a wedge developed between him and Demi. For four years he didn’t see his daughter until she made a surprise visit in February.
“I was at my dad’s house when I heard a knock on the door, and he yelled out that someone wanted to see me,” says Patrick. “I walked out of the bedroom — and there was Demi! I couldn’t believe how beautiful she was.The first thing she said to me was, ‘Hey, partner… I love you!’ We threw our arms around each other and began to cry.”
A young, pretty girl with an uninvolved father who’s already selling her out to the tabloids?
Oh, Demi’s just begging to hit the clubs.

Why would you think that ONLY a “cougar” would wear classic black sexy pumps? I believe Demi’s main motivation for wearing these shoes is the SPECIAL OCCASION that seems to be going on. I don’t think I should have to explain that special occasions call for special outfits, and special outfits must be COORDINATED! The fact that your mentally and physically underdeveloped teenager couldn’t stand, let alone walk, in high heels is a testament to how BAD your parenting is and of no significance in defining what is to be permitted to achievers like Demi Lovato. But, you still probably think that “there oughtta be a law” against “sexy” high heels on “underage” girls. When I was in high school, just about every gal wore heels fairly often (and we’re talking about ages 14 to 17) and it wasn’t described as a problem then, so why does it suddenly become an obscenity now? I think it’s about dumbing America down using some Asshole role model (like Jesus or whoever) which Demi Lovato, in her self-determined freedom, refuses to be. The Cult of the Role Model is how you conscript free-thinking, proud, productive individuals into service to mass stupidity like what you illustrate by comparing Demi Lovato to a middle-aged boyeater just because she takes pride in how looks at a premiere or awards show!!! All posters here need to examine why they object to Demi’s well-chosen outfit and shoes!!!
