The “I Kissed a Girl” singer was partying at Villa in Los Angeles Saturday when the deejay spotted her and blasted the hit for the crowd. Perry, in a funky unitard, stood up on the banquette, leaned down and planted a lingering kiss on the mouth of a girlfriend in front of everyone.
So, so, so cliche. For her sake, I hope she was wasted when this happened.
And who the hell wears a “funky unitard” these days?

Love her shoes, but I Kissed A Girl was done a long time ago. What is the appeal of her song? Ooh, lesbians. Cyndi Lauper did a great song long before Jill Sobule and Katy Perry called When You Were Mine. Much better.

I thought it was a good song and that a bunch of people freaked out too much. It’s not really that big of a deal. There will be a lot of controversy about it, but hey there is a lot of controversy about a lot of music. Ever heard of Eminem? He isn’t even played on the radio because his lyrics are so offensive. But he’s still talented (well, matter of opinion). Anyways, to each his own. We are all allowed our own opinion. And in mine, I think Katy Perry did a good job even if it pisses some people off… or is about something controversial. It gets people to think I guess?
