Joan Rivers Continues to Rock My World
June 17th, 2008 by Evil BeetThe fabulous Ms. Rivers was kicked off the UK talk show Loose Women for calling Russell Crowe a “piece of fucking shit.” She warned the producers to bleep her, but the show is live and there’s no bleeping. Joan was asked to leave at the commercial break.
Says Joan in apology: “Yes, I swore, and I’m so fucking sorry. No one told me the TV show Loose Women was a reality show and that I would be voted off. It’s funny: offstage, I hardly ever use profanity. My favorite four-letter word is ’shop.’”

She’d have gotten away with it on the ‘Jonathan Ross’ show. It’s just that ‘Loose Women’ is a daytime show.
Bit harsh to make her leave though - a simple apology from the hostess should have been enough (I doubt Joan would have apologised!)

Every time I hear Joan Rivers, she totally fails to make me laugh. Her humour is so attention-seeking and over-the-top, and it totally misses the mark for a UK audience. ITV must have been desperate to hire her in the first place.
