Let the Weddings Begin!

One couple in the state has scheduled their wedding for 5:01 pm.
They’ve tried to get married every year, on Valentines Day, for eight years straight, always unsuccessful, but this time will be different.

I noticed that your appearance on the board coincides with the end of the school year. If you were a grown up, you’d have better things to do than internet stalk the Beet. Well, I am so happy for the couple in that video. Congratulations to them, and to all the couples in California who have waited for so long to simply be accepted as people… Adults who have the right to love and be loved by another adult, without persecution or state interference.
I hope the rest of the world follows suit… and soon. Lucky for me I live in a place where marriage between two adults, regardless of race, religion, creed or sexual orientation has been legal for more than 5 years. I can’t wait for the rest of the world to catch up!

However, I really wonder who decided to use the rainbow flag as a symbol. It is not pretty in my book. Can’t we just use one of the colors and then mention it’s one of the colors in the homo rainbow? Call it fuschia and automatically it’s gay…
